Who is this guy?

Marshall King is a journalist, writer and eater who makes his home in Goshen, Indiana.

He’s worked in the South Bend-Elkhart community since graduating from Eastern Mennonite University in 1992. He was a reporter first at the Goshen News and spent more than 20 years as a reporter, columnist and editor at The Elkhart Truth.

In May 2016, after the sale of the Truth, he became a freelance writer and journalist for a variety of outlets, including the Goshen News, South Bend Tribune, Community Foundation of Elkhart County, and South Bend-Elkhart Regional Development Authority. He has written for The Irish Times newspaper, Christian Century, and The Mennonite, as well as other magazines.

He also helps businesses and non-profits with public relations.

Since 2000, he’s been writing the weekly column Dining A La King, which appears Fridays in the Tribune and Mondays in the Goshen News. He's often referred to as the "Food Guy."

He enjoys great stories, funky food, good design and athletic feats (though the latter are best done by others).
